For what? Playing pvp in a pure pvp game?
PvP.... what PvP is there in scamming others.... courier contract scams are one thing to lure out into low sec but apart from that this has nothing to do with PvP.
It's financial PvP. PvP is not always about the pew pew.

Troll!
Nothing in finance works without trust. If people could not trust one another then they could not trust money and it had no value at all! It would be nothing more than a piece of paper with a number on it.
Right now the only trust people have is that they are likely to get scammed. What is it they do? They avoid it.
To use your analogy of PvP: Imagine there was a ship and it could kill you in one shot and without you being able to do anything about it. Everyone could buy this ship for the smallest price. What would you do about it in PvP? Comeback and try a hundred times again, to see how futile it is to fight it?? It would ruin PvP, just like scams ruin the finance business.
So I'm a troll for stating a fact? All financial matters are about trust, as you rightly say. Success in finance depends on assessing the trustworthiness of a trading partner. There are two very simple ways to do this in Eve: 1. Always read the contract properly. Old, I know, but it's old because it works. 2. Never trade with a multi-9 trader. Assume any trade ending in a string of 9s is a scam. These simple rules will help you avoid scams, and this is success against scammers.
Not entirely sure what your uber-ship analogy is all about, but were such a thing to exist I'd learn to recognise and avoid it, just as I recognise and avoid scams.
